Hi-freaking-larious.

I am not a DJ. This is not a mixtape. I do like to listen to music and I reminisce about the days when I would record songs from the radio¹. Most of the time, these tapes would be a random mash-up of hits and old jams, as well as obscure songs found deep with a retail tape. Think of these “episodes” the same way. Abrupt transitions, bad blends and little connections between songs, this is everything you don’t want in a mixtape; however, it is good music. Read more for the tracklist.

This isn’t a music blog, I promise. It’s just that I’ve been getting beat over the head with some great hip hop music over the past few weeks. I also don’t put up 90% of what I get hit with via email. This latest installment is an “eyes open” effort to make up for sleeping on Diamond District’s “In The Ruff”. You may remember KNO from various projects. For me, his Black Album remix, given away for free.99 on Okayplayer earned him a permanent position of prominence in the Book of Teech.
